My Approach

I believe in growth and healing. I am not the healer, but see myself as a guide helping others to access their own innate capacity to heal. I harness the power of connection, compassion, and empathy to create a place of safety where people can start to be with themselves in a different way. I have a deep trust in the wisdom of the body and believe that we must use the body to ‘feel” rather than stay in our heads attempting to “think” ourselves out of our pain. Consequently, I use experiential therapy approaches to create a “here and now” experience in the therapy office to facilitate needed catharsis and repair. I believe in the power of being witnessed and supported that therapy uniquely offers. I am honored when I get to accompany individuals and families on their path toward a more vibrant life and sense of wholeness.
